Sharpen Photos with Hi-Pass
There's nothing worse than a great photo that's slightly out of focus. A quick and easy fix is to use Photoshop's Hi-Pass filter.
- Duplicate the photo layer
- Apply Filter > Other > High Pass
- Select a low setting (around 2.0)
- Set that layer’s Blending Mode to Overlay
- Play around with the High Pass setting to get the desired result and you can also tweak the layer's opacity to fine-tune.
